A&P Mechanic (Entry-Level)

Job Summary Veterans Alliance is seeking an entry-level or early-career A&P Mechanic for a 12-month contract position in Great Falls, Montana, supporting a variety of aircraft platforms in a heavy maintenance environment. This is a great opportunity for recently licensed A&P mechanics looking to gain hands-on experience and build long-term industry skills.

Veterans and transitioning service members with an active A&P license are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various fixed-wing aircraft
• Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect airframe and powerplant systems
• Follow technical data, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
• Ensure all work meets FAA regulations and safety standards
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time
• Work as part of a team to support hangar operations and aircraft readiness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – REQUIRED
• 0–2 years of A&P experience (recent grads welcome)
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations and maintenance practices
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Must provide own tools
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
