A&P Mechanic

Job Summary Veterans Alliance is seeking a reliable and experienced A&P Mechanic for a direct-hire position in Wilmington, North Carolina, supporting a broad mix of commercial and business jet operations. This opportunity involves working on Boeing 737-700/800, Airbus A319/A320, CRJ 700/900, and potentially AOG and light general aviation aircraft.

Candidates must have prior airline experience and be open to multiple shift options. Veterans and transitioning service members with A&P certification are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial and business jets
• Troubleshoot and repair airframe, powerplant, and avionics systems
• Document maintenance activities in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and aircraft maintenance documents
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Support AOG situations and flexible aircraft assignments as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate – REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 years of commercial airline maintenance experience – REQUIRED
• Experience working with Boeing 737-700/800, Airbus A319/A320, and CRJ 700/900 preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
