A&P Mechanic

Job Summary Veterans Alliance is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic for a direct-hire opportunity in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role supports line and heavy maintenance operations for a diverse fleet, including Boeing 737-700/800, Airbus A319/A320, CRJ 700/900, and AOG business jets.

This is a great opportunity for a technician with airline experience who is flexible with shifts and ready to join a professional, fast-paced maintenance operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform line and heavy maintenance on commercial aircraft platforms
• Troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant systems in accordance with FAA standards
• Support AOG operations and light general aviation as needed
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and work orders
• Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality assurance, and company procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate – REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 years of commercial airline maintenance experience – REQUIRED
• Experience working on B737-700/800, A319/A320, CRJ 700/900 – PREFERRED
• Willingness to support AOG and general aviation operations
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Tools required

• 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
• 5:00 PM – 4:00 AM

Pay Rate: $30 – $40/hr (based on experience) Shift Differential: Additional $1/hr for 2nd & 3rd shift
