We have an amazing opportunity to join our fantastic Menzies Aviation team to lead our station in Bermuda Island. We are looking for an experienced General Manager who has a genuine passion for looking after their people.

General Manager – Bermuda
- Reports to: Senior Vice President, Americas
- Location: Bermuda
Overview
The General Manager is a key role for our Bermuda station, responsible for oversight of one of Menzies Aviation’s Americas operations. You will work with station leadership to ensure Menzies Aviation delivers:
- Safe, consistent, and quality ground handling services
- Compliance with all regulatory, airport, customer, and internal standards
- High-quality service to domestic and international airlines
You must be able to run a business in a challenging environment, maintain strict safety standards and corporate governance, and meet financial targets.

Main Accountabilities
- Fully responsible for all aspects of station ground handling services
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding station goals and revenue targets
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and legal/quality standards
- Lead senior team in maintaining safety & security systems, risk assessments, inspections, and training
- Regularly interact with customers, use feedback to improve processes
- Strategically align resources to maximize station performance
- Implement company policies promoting safety, security, and people management best practices
- Drive a “safety first” culture at all levels
- Ensure full compliance with all industry, regulatory, and internal requirements
- Lead and motivate teams to deliver excellence in quality and productivity
- Guide managers to achieve targets and drive continuous development
- Perform other duties as assigned
Safety, Security, and Compliance Responsibilities
All employees must:
- Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others
- Be fully versed in international aviation safety and security standards
- Cooperate with managers to meet legal requirements
- Not misuse any company-provided safety equipment or systems
- Inform managers of any serious or immediate danger to health and safety
- Report hazards, near misses, incidents, or accidents
- Carry out work according to provided training and procedures
- Understand and adhere to the company health and safety policy
- Attend any arranged training courses
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate degree preferred
- Leadership: Proven leadership and people management skills
- Commercial Acumen: Experience in business development, sales, and commercial negotiation & pricing
- Management: Several years of senior management or support service experience (ground handling, aviation, or logistics preferred)
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; confident presenter at all levels
- Personal Traits: Independent, decisive, flexible, determined, and self-motivated
- Pre-employment: Must pass all required testing
