Avionics Technician (2nd Shift)

Job Summary Veterans Alliance is actively seeking an experienced Avionics Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, supporting rotary-wing aircraft in a maintenance environment. This position is ideal for technicians with strong avionics skills, a valid A&P license, and the flexibility to work 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of avionics systems on rotary-wing aircraft
• Route, terminate, and secure wire bundles, conductors, and avionics hardware
• Interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and OEM documentation
• Conduct operational checks and verify system functionality post-installation
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with FAA and company standards
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
• Collaborate with maintenance and QA teams to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – REQUIRED
• Minimum 5 years of avionics maintenance experience – REQUIRED
• Rotary-wing aircraft experience in a maintenance environment – REQUIRED
• Must be able to work 2nd shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documentation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Tools required
