A&P Mechanic

Job Summary Veterans Alliance is seeking a highly skilled A&P Mechanic for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity in Denver, Colorado, supporting King Air, C-12, and Citation corporate jet platforms. This role involves both line and heavy maintenance and is ideal for technicians with at least 3 years of hands-on experience and a current FAA A&P license.

Veterans and transitioning service members with corporate jet or general aviation experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on King Air, C-12, or Citation aircraft
• Troubleshoot and repair airframe, powerplant, and electrical systems
• Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Perform line and heavy inspections, repairs, and component replacements
• Ensure all work meets FAA and company standards for safety and quality
• Accurately complete maintenance records and sign-offs
• Sheet metal repair/modification work is a strong plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – REQUIRED
• Minimum 3 years of A&P maintenance experience – REQUIRED
• Experience working on King Air, C-12, and/or Citation aircraft – REQUIRED
• Sheet metal experience – HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Tools required
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused
