Aircraft Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary Veterans Alliance is seeking a highly experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector for a 12-month contract assignment supporting fixed-wing aircraft in a heavy maintenance environment. This is a great opportunity for qualified inspectors with a strong foundation in FAA-regulated or military aviation maintenance programs.

Candidates must hold a valid FAA A&P license and have a minimum of 3 years of aircraft inspection experience under FAR Part 145, 121, 135, or equivalent military standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of aircraft systems, structures, and components
• Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and internal quality standards
• Verify proper documentation of maintenance tasks in accordance with FAR requirements
• Identify and report discrepancies or non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are performed
• Collaborate with technicians and supervisors to maintain schedule and safety standards
• Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid FAA A&P Certificate – REQUIRED
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing aircraft inspections under:
• FAR Part 145, 121, 135 or
• Equivalent military aviation experience
• Solid understanding of aviation maintenance documentation and inspection protocols
• Experience with fixed-wing aircraft in a heavy maintenance environment
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong attention to detail, safety-oriented mindset, and excellent documentation skills
