Hotel Breakfast Attendant (Part Time Weekends)

Duties:

• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area in a clean and organized manner
• Prepare and serve breakfast items to guests in accordance with established standards
• Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing any inquiries or special requests
• Ensure food items are fresh, properly labeled, and adhere to dietary restrictions when necessary
• Monitor and replenish food and beverage items as needed throughout service hours
• Assist in kitchen duties such as food preparation, coffee brewing, and basic food handling tasks
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in compliance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to provide seamless service to guests

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
• Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus
• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
• Familiarity with basic knife skills for simple food preparation tasks
• Understanding of food safety protocols and willingness to maintain cleanliness standards
• Experience in dietary aide responsibilities is advantageous
• Proficiency in meat cutting techniques is beneficial
• Passion for coffee preparation and service is desirable
