Hotel Room Attendant/Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and inviting, contributing to a positive guest experience. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness and an understanding of the importance of maintaining high standards in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
• Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged.
• Restock guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
• Assist in deep cleaning projects as required, including industrial cleaning tasks.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Uphold the highest levels of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests during encounters.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices to ensure efficient workflow.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
