Job Description
Manage technical and regulatory aspects of aircraft deliveries, redeliveries, and lease returns; ensure airworthiness and contractual compliance during transitions.
Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee aircraft transition processes for timely deliveries/redeliveries • Evaluate aircraft status/configuration before lease agreements; review technical specs from lessors • Define required modifications and maintenance during transition inputs • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure entry-into-service readiness • Perform aircraft records reviews and physical inspections to ensure compliance • Review LOIs and lease agreements; propose changes; prepare final aircraft documentation • Identify/mitigate technical and records-related issues impacting timelines • Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, and records audits for compliance • Review maintenance records including AD/SB compliance and LLP status • Prepare technical reports/gap analyses; assist with maintenance check planning/execution • Support DGCA inspections; oversee subcontracted transition activities
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) • 3–5 years in fleet transition/aircraft delivery-redelivery • Knowledge of aviation regulations/standards (EASA, FAA, ICAO) • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, lease documentation, and regulatory requirements • Strong project management and communication skills; willingness to travel • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aircraft records software • EASA Part 66 license or equivalent; experience with major lease transitions; strong negotiation skills
